Therapeutic Approach
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is central to my practice. This model allows us to deepen our understanding of our identity and experiences through the acknowledgment of varying internal “parts.”Through collaboration, we can support internal harmony and deepen self-compassion.
Trauma—specifically: childhood trauma, intergenerational trauma, intimate partner violence/relationship abuse, and gender-based violence are areas of focus within my practice. Additionally, I support clients in exploring aspects of identity—including gender, sexuality, body image and family roles—as well as navigating feelings of anxiety, depression, grief, loss, shame, and self-criticism."
Social justice and holistic care are core values of my practice. Our work will explore the role of interpersonal relationships, physical environments, and societal systems on you well being. I view therapy as a tool for personal revolution and collective liberation.
Humor and creativity play vital roles in my work. I see them as catalysts for deeper understanding and essential tools for nurturing the unique needs of our internal systems. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I seek to ensure that everyone feels comfortable existing in their wholeness.
